Outdoor kitchen have become all the rage. More and more clients are asking for homes equipped with them these days. Being in the real estate market I can say that having an outdoor kitchen is a great selling point and a good investment for any homeowner. With an added pergola, I don't see how anyone could resist!

Considering refinishing kitchen cabinets is a great idea. The cost of remodeling a kitchen can be so high and many are afraid to repaint their cabinets and have them chip. I think hiring a professional to do the job would give you that peace of mind that the new surface will last while not spending a ton of money!

Kitchen backsplashes are so fun! I love all the options available today! I think it is a great area to do something different. Having something that is too wild that potential buyers might shy away from is probably not good - but going out of your comfort zone might be exciting! I say go for it!

Being in the insulation business for over 26 years, I agree with your advice. One good thing to remember is that those big box companies can often be more expensive because they mark up the prices from the middle man. Make sure you do your homework and you will be happy you did in the end!

Being a small business owner and having a home office can be challenging for sure. You are most certainly right that you cannot work on your kitchen table! I feel that you need to be able to physically close off your office so you can "shut it off" in the evenings and be with your family!

I think that refacing your kitchen cabinets is a really great way to go for many homeowners. You can do it on a much smaller budget and if you have good cabinets (good bones as they say) they can last a long time.
